Shana Tucker

Shana and I talk about our decades-long friendship and artistic collaborations, photo shoots, PR and album cover design for SHiNE 1.0 (and 2.0), etc.

A big part of that relationship, early on, included hue, the trio she formed with Maritri/piano & guitar + Lisa/viola, and how that helped to define the development of her genre-defining "chamber soul".

We also discuss her 5-year gig with Cirque du Soleil's KÀ in Las Vegas, post-KÀ, and what it's like to be an independent musician now.

About the Podcast

Way Off the Record
The podcast about people and their (untold) stories that need to heard.
Way Off the Record
The theme of the pod is "stories from the under-reported masses" such as that amazing server that managed to handle the front of the bar AND the rowdy comedy audience in the back. The people behind the scenes of TV, film. The lives of inde musicians, etc. Not entertainment-themed, necessarily.

WOTR seeks to give a voice to folks we don't normally hear about, and directly from them.

Scott Ambrosino

I'm a gay man (of a certain age) living in NYC for the past 3 decades. I'm a first-time podcast host, decades-long graphic and web designer and I've got some things to say. Luckily, the people on my podcast also have some things to say.

"Way Off the Record" will be focused on the stories from the under-reported masses.
